A passenger on the bus looked out of the window as the bus stopped to let another car pass and was startled to see a small figure of a man about 18 inches (45.7 cm) tall standing on a peat field. It looked like he had his foot on the shovel, like he was digging. He had a thin, sharp face, brown curly hair, a bright blue coat and a very white shirt with the sleeves rolled up, and he had a small bag on his side.
He lost sight of the figure as the bus left.
