Two 9-year-old girls playing on the banks of the Ohio river near the Mid-South mobile home Park reported noticing an unidentified flying object on the South side of the river.
The girls said the object, about the size of a small car, was shaped like a saucer with a handle without a Cup on it. They said it was "brown and white" with purple and yellow flashing lights.
According to them, it hovered near the shore, disappeared and appeared several times at a short distance. The photographer who arrived at the scene after the girls called the Sheriff's office and the local airport may have seen it too.
