Initial data
First, the three boys saw two lights. They looked like very large stars placed side by side.
They watched for a couple of minutes, then continued walking. Then, when they were at right angles to the light, Brian said:
"It's moving!»
Then they saw four lights: two in the front and two in the back. Then a blue light appeared between the two taillights and flashed 7 or 8 times. Each flash was accompanied by a beep, then a blue light appeared.
The object was the size of a jet plane and was approximately 200-300 feet high and was located about 70 yards (64 m) from the witnesses. The object itself was never visible, only lights.
The boys hid behind a tree and watched as the object moved very slowly, went about 200 feet (60 m), slowed down almost to a stop, and moved again.
In the East, the lights disappeared after about 15-20 minutes.
