Initial data
Descending to an altitude of 15,000 feet for landing, the senior pilot and the Kuwait Airways team noticed a huge, brightly lit hemispherical object with a flat base, steadily moving East at a speed slightly slower than that of his plane.
"When I turned North at Wafra, the phenomenon was still clearly visible and remained so until we descended below the haze layer and began to approach the runway."
The crew of another airline operating a flight 90 miles away reported the same phenomenon. The radar did not detect the object.
