An eyewitness from the city of Arnhem (Gelderland region) reports:
Moving in the direction of Waterberg junction, so South, I thought I saw a balloon with a basket directly ahead. At a very high altitude, I thought ... But at the interchange turning West, we were almost UNDER an object that looked more like half a heart (such a divisible suspension).
Thus, the object was much closer and also much smaller than the balloon. The sky was dark blue and crystal clear. The object was black to gray with a small red dot.
The size is not more than half a meter per meter. The small object hung motionless and certainly didn't look like a drone or anything like that.
Due to traffic and turning West, I was unfortunately unable to take a picture from a moving car.

ARNHEM, GD — Richting knoopunt waterberg rijdend, dus zuidwaarts, dacht ik recht vooruit een luchtballon met mand te zien . Op zeer grote hoogte dacht ik.... Maar bij het knooppunt afslaand naar het westen bevonden wij ons bijna ONDER het object dat meer weg had van de helft van een hartje ( van zo'n deelbaar hangertje ). Het object was dus veel dichterbij en ook veel kleiner dan een ballon. De lucht was strak donkerblauw en kraakhelder. Het object was zwart tot grijs en had een kleine rode stip. Groote hooguit een halve meter tot een meter. Het kleine object hing doodstil en leek zeker geen drone o.i.d.
Vanwege de verkeersdrukte en mijn afslaan richting het westen was ik helaas niet in staat een foto uit de rijdende auto te nemen.
