Bill Johnston and his girlfriend Stella Donohue set up a tent at the lake for the night after they flattened the wheel. They were woken up at about 02: 00 by a squeal.
Donohue unzipped the tent and went outside to see the huge creature towering over the water. It had a tiny head, too small for its body. Its fur shone bright silver in the moonlight, and it looked right at him.
She called bill, and he ran out with a flashlight. At this time, the creature was rushing towards them. They grabbed their keys, ran to the car, and drove away. They reported the incident to the police.
A local taxi driver reported that two boats were missing on the lake, and the wreckage was never found.

Donohue unzipped the tent and went outside to see a huge creature towering in the water. It had a tiny head, too small for it’s body. Its fur was shining brilliantly silver in the moonlight and it was staring straight at him. She screamed for Bill and he raced out with a flashlight. At this time the creature was racing towards them. They grabbed the keys and ran to the car and then took off. They reported the incident to the police. A local taxi driver reported that two boats had vanished on the lake and the wreckage was never found.
