Heriberto Acosta watched as a huge winged creature resembling a pterodactyl or gargoyle descended from the sky and landed on the nearest tin roof.

The grotesque creature had fleshy feathered wings and what looked like scales. It had a long neck and a beak with sharp teeth.

In the end, it flew away.
