Three women strolling through a wooded area in a small town about a quarter of a mile from home saw a pair of huge glowing red eyes. They were about 50 yards (45 m) away.
When they were 20 yards (18 m) away, they were able to get a better look at the creature. It walked on two legs, looked about 6 or 7 feet (1.8-2.1 m) tall, and had bat-like wings.
When they were about 10 yards (9 m) away from the creature, it spread its wings (which extended to about 10 feet (3 m)) and silently began to rise into the air without even flapping them, and disappeared at a very high speed.
