An eyewitness from Elsendorp writes:
We were driving in the car and suddenly the whole sky turned bright orange, we thought about a big fire.
As we got closer, we saw a huge orange ball of light with smoke hanging over the houses. My navigator and I were talking about calling 112 because we thought it was a huge fire, but all of a sudden all the smoke and the huge ball of light instantly disappeared.
We're really interested in what we saw!

ELSENDORP, NB — We reden in de auto en plots werd heel de lucht fel oranje we dachten aan een heftige brand toen we dichterbij kwamen zagen we een enorme grote oranje lichtbol met rook die boven de flat uitstak, er was ook rook bij aanwezig . Ik en mijn bijrijder hadden het er over om 112 te bellen want we dachten aan een enorme brand maar plotseling verdween alle rook en enorme lichtbal accuut. We vragen ons zelf echt af wat we hebben gezien!
