Professor of mathematics Claudio Ametller Font looked out of the window to investigate the strange sound, and saw a huge dark bird-like creature, which, according to his calculations, was from 10 to 15 meters in length.
Stunned, he wrote a letter to the local newspaper about what he had seen.
On the same night, another witness, Pere Carbo, reported that a huge black bird-like creature woke up several residents of the area because of the loud chirping it was making; he estimated the bird to be about 3-5 meters wide.
