To everyone who reads this. Rest assured, this is a real experience. Despite the fact that this happened back in 1996, I still remember it very well and I think it is important to report it now. There was a woodland area behind my house. I used to go cycling and play there a lot when I was 13 years old.
It was the middle of the day when my younger friend and I were playing with a colony of ants in the woods. One of us turned and alerted the other to a strange streak of light hovering a few feet above the ground a few meters away. At first we didn't know what it was, so at first we stood there, asking each other what it was and whether it was some kind of optical illusion.
It was moving somewhat erratically up and down, but in a general direction towards us. To our horror, he came within 1 meter of us, and we realized that this was not an illusion, and ran out of the forest and home.
Looking back, I don't know if it was something spiritual or some fancy ship.

Behind my home was a wooded area. I frequently went for bike rides and played there at that time I was 13 years old. We did not know at first what it was so we stood there at first questioning each other what it was and whether or not it was some sort of optical illusion. It was moving somewhat erratically up and down but in an overall direction towards us. To our horror, it approached within 1 meter of us and we realized this was no illusion and ran out from the woods and home.
Looking back on this, I don’t know whether it was something spiritual or some sort of bizarre craft.
