Initial data
The witness, Angie, suddenly woke up, startled, and realized that the only part of her body that she could move was her eyes. She stared in disbelief into the dimness of her bedroom at a small, stooped figure about three feet (0.9 m) tall standing by her bed. The witness was terrified and could not move.
As she continued to stare at the creature, it suddenly moved, exuding a strong smell of "burnt cardboard or paper". He leaned over her, and when this happened, the witness telepathically hears the mechanical-sounding words in his head:
"Grandma says: do it in the morning."
After that, the little creature disappeared, leaving a heavy smell of burnt paper in the room, and Angie found that she could move normally again.
She slept like a log for several hours, and then she woke up refreshed, remembering this strange event with great clarity. She had no doubt of the meaning of these mysterious words.
Her beloved grandmother had died just two weeks earlier, and Angie's grief prevented her from applying for a "dream job" as a nanny in the family in Edinburgh . She felt as if her grandmother had sent her a message.
