My husband, daughter and I arrived from Penzance in far south-west Cornwall on an evening around September. The daughters talked about the start time of the new semester in the schools. it was a moonlit night and the clouds were buoyant, but there was a lot of clear sky in between - as if it was quite windy high up. We had to drive along a country road for about 11 or 12 miles through several small villages and one or two small villages, but very quiet.
The road was well lit by the moon, despite the fast-moving clouds that only occasionally obscured much of the sky. We had, I think it was when we had an Audi with a sunroof, but it could have been a Renault car, I don't know much about cars. The thing is, we had a tinted glass sunroof. My daughter and I were discussing the busy night and the sky when something caught my attention. We must have been about three miles out of town.
First behind the cloud, and then without it, there were three green or gray-green faded, but clearly visible green spheres. They would be quite large, I suppose, if we rated them as flying under clouds, sometimes I really don't know how high the clouds are!! But at this height, they would seem to measure about half the size of a football field!! or maybe a third.
If I were measuring them as an artist, using the thumb down of a pencil-the tip of the pencil is placed on the visual edge of one of the spheres, and my thumb moves down until my eyes see it as a record of the opposite edge, and my hand is straight ( if you know this method used to measure distant objects, goodbye artists!!!I would say that at this distance they would be about three or four inches across.
At first we thought it was some kind of laser show (we saw one that startled us when the images appeared over our fields), but they swapped places, changing the height slightly, like a car does on a bumpy road. Also, on the tured road, they changed their path to follow us, brazenly approaching each other to make a turn. At first, watching them partly through the sunroof and partly by craning our necks was just fun, but then we got confused when we saw them following us, and it became even more important for us to get home as soon as possible.
In fact, they followed us for the last mile to the house, and when we reached the village and turned sharply to the left, they turned around and went away, getting smaller and smaller. we didn't know what to think, we were sure it was some kind of spaceship. However, there were no separate lights, as I heard, but only a continuous ring (pale green) that each of them had, and the middle was somehow darkened. we were used to seeing helicopters when we lived on their flight path from a military base about 12 miles away in the other direction, as well as planes and balloons, but none of them looked like this, and the theses were moving facts and had a greater speed of movement than a jet plane when they took off, but made no sound.
My husband met a neighbor( about a mile away) a week later, and when he went to mention it, the neighbor said, "It's strange that we were also followed by those' exactly the same ' ones.
Then in the local newspaper for Cornwall (and I have a photo that someone took) there was a report (near Bodmin, I think it was) about this UFO "only one" but very similar to the ones we were following, but it was taken in the afternoon at sunset!!!! Around the same time (and it could be accountable to any other way, I don't know, maybe not related, but those were very real, no doubt) At night I was woken up by a very bright white light-blue white.
The road was right next to the house, so I thought at first, and so did hubby, that it must be a car!! I actually made small blinds for this side window, but they didn't fit very well, so they let light in around the edges, and it shone right in my face. I opened the shutter to look, and there was no car, and the moon was not visible, or at least I could not find it, and also the light was much brighter and very white with a bue-elemente. I didn't see his move, it lasted for a while. twenty minutes, maybe half an hour, passed.
I used to tell people about these sightings and they would come back with amazing stories, but I never found a place to report it and find out what it was, then I would read the uninvited guests, getting it in a stack of books I got in a charity shop[ before we left England two years ago. and when I mentioned the light, it reminded me of it, and it sent a shiver down my spine.
Now I wonder how far this meeting actually went!!!! at least if you have this information, you can look into it yourself, and it's not lost forever, which I hated, because I think everything like this should be recorded, otherwise how can we know what's going on or to what extent?

WE had I think it was when we had the Audi with a sunroof but it might have been a Renault car I am not much good about cars. The point is we had a tinted glass sunroof. My daughter and I had been commenting on the lively night and sky when something caught my attention. WE must have travelled perhaps three miles out of the town. First behind a cloud then unshielded were three green or grey green faded but clearly there, green spheres. They would have been pretty big, I suppose if we estimated them to be er!!! flying below the clouds sometimes I don’t really know what height the clouds are at!!! But at that height they would seem to measure about I would guess half the size of football pitch!! maybe a third.
