This was from 1976 to 1978 (sorry for my English). I was ten or eleven years old at the time. I was born in 1967. We, my cousin and I (he was five years old at the time, and of course he can't remember anything) played on one (of the three) yards in our grandparents ' house. It was a large colonial house.
Suddenly my cousin points his finger at the roof, he saw the object first. This object was an inverted triangle about two meters in size at the base. it hovered silently at a height of one meter or less from the top of the roof (the object could not be further than eight or nine meters from us). My aunt (my cousin's mother) ironed clothes right under the roof and paid little attention to our vocations, thinking that there was nothing important in this, just children's games.
As a child, we were not afraid, but simply amazed, so I decided to go after my grandparents to show him "our discovery" that he shaves, and reluctantly followed me (while I pulled him by the hand). I was just a kid then, now I'm a lawyer, and my grandfather was an astronomer, a historian, a really very educated person.
Well, I'll never forget his expression when he saw the object, his face turned pale as if he was about to faint, all he could do was call my aunt (of course, she noted the need for his father's voice and quickly flew in. (It was right under the roof, four or five meters away from us) But suddenly the object almost "disappeared" in the sky, the same speed of its movement. The clouds were very high, it was sunny. It was around 11: 00
It was a closed topic in our house (not for my grandfather), and I remember vividly telling other members of our family about what we had seen, just to be ignored (just a child), or giving all sorts of silly explanations for the phenomenon (perhaps some say it was a helicopter). Even as a child, I thought that if it was a helicopter, it was very small, made no noise, and moved at such a speed that I had never heard of it before.
I remember being treated like an imaginative child at dinner, I remember my grandfather shutting everyone down (he was the most respected member of our family, and he was absolutely clear at the time) and declaring that what I was saying was true, and what we saw that morning was very unusual.
My grandfather died in 1980, but he died knowing that there were things hidden behind our word that our "scientific" community still doesn't know, or at least doesn't want to know. I, of course, remain silent, because my family knows this fact as another closest one. It still amazes me how the scientific community treats this phenomenon.
Personal background: I am a lawyer, I work in a state institution, I have completed specialized training (after law school) in commercial law. Just a normal person with an unusual experience.

I keep in the silence of course being this fact known by my family as another closest one. Still amaze me to know the kind of treatment giving at the phenomena by the scientific community.
