An eyewitness from Hellevoetsluis writes:

A very fast bright spot, flying about 5 times faster than the passenger planes that often fly over my house. Flew from the southwest side of his seat to the northeast and very slowly continued to fly to the southeast.

I tried in vain to see if I could see other light sources, such as collision lights, spotlights, etc., but I saw nothing but a white dot. The light did not disappear.

HELLEVOETSLUIS, ZH — Heel snel lichtpunt, vloog ongeveer 5 keer sneller passagiersvliegtuigen die vaak boven mn huis vliegen. Vloog van zuidwester kant van mijn plek naar de noordoosterkant en bleef daar heel langzaam vliegen naar het zuidoosten. Ik probeerde tevergeefs te kijken of ik andere lichten op het lichtje zag zoals collisionlights, spotlampen of dergelijken maar ik zag niks anders dan het witte punt. Licht verdween niet
