Initial data
While driving south on Highway 67 towards Hazelwood, the witness noticed that a Florissant police officer stopped a motorist on the right side of the roadway.
On closer inspection, the witness noticed that the officer had returned to his cruiser, and saw that he was looking at the sky near the grocery store. The witness looked in that direction and saw a huge black rectangle with large windows on the sides. The interior of the object was sufficiently well lit that the witness could tell that the mass of the object was very large. A witness would estimate the object to be the width of a five-lane highway, or at least 100 yards wide.
The witness also recalled seeing very bright neon or bluish lights on the outside of the object.
The object flew at an altitude of about 200 feet (60 m) above the ground almost directly above the Schnucks store, flew over Highway 67 and disappeared from view.
The object made no sound as it flew overhead. As it passed, a witness noticed movement inside the facility's rear windows and apparently saw someone come out of the interior of the ship to look out the window. The eyewitness immediately got the impression that it was a kind of military airship-invisible.
The witness recalled seeing other colored lights on the outside of the ship, but could not be sure of the configuration due to being distracted by movement inside the window.

Summary: Traveling southbound on Hwy 67 towards Hazelwood the witness noticed that a Florissant police officer had a motorist pulled over to the right side of the roadway. Upon closer examination the witness noticed the officer walking back to his cruiser and saw him looking towards the sky near a grocery store. The witness looked towards that direction and saw a huge black rectangle with large windows on the side. The interior of the object was lit up well enough so the witness could tell that the mass of the object was very large. The witness would estimate the object to be as wide as a five lane highway or at least 100 yards wide. Witness also remembered seeing some extremely bright neon or bluish color lights on the exterior of the object. The object passed about 200 feet off the ground nearly directly over the “Schnucks” store and flew over hwy 67 and out of sight. The object made no sound as it flew overhead. As it passed the witness noticed movement inside of the back windows of the object and apparently saw someone move from the interior portion of the craft to look out the window. The witness immediate impression was that it was some sort of military stealth blimp. The witness remembered seeing other colored lights on the exterior of the craft but can’t be certain of the configuration as a result of the distraction by the movement inside the window.
