Jesus Barrientos, a 42-year-old janitor, went up to the roof to arrange the crates. The area was well lit.
Turning, he saw what looked like a bird at the top of the doorway. Thinking it was a bat, he tried to drive the animal away, but when he approached it, he realized that it was a strange animal with an elongated snout, bulging eyes, sharp teeth, and made squealing sounds like a puppy.
Terrified and unable to move, Barrientos noticed that the creature had long ears, black in color, about 1 meter in length, and large bat-like wings. The witness ran, and at the same time the creature flew off into the night.

As he turned halfway around he saw what appeared to have been some sort of bird on top of a doorway. Thinking that it was a bat he tried to shoo the animal away, but as he approached it, he realized that it was a strange animal with an elongated face, bulging eyes, sharp teeth and it was making squealing sounds like a puppy. Terrified and unable to move, Barrientos noticed that the creature had long ears, was black in color, was about 1 meter in length, and had large bat-like wings. The witness broke into a run and at the same time the creature flew off into the night.
