Several local residents called the police after seeing what they described as a "gnome"in the city center. They all described the creature as very small, green, and ugly.

Marco Preciado reported that the humanoid was less than three feet (0.9 m) tall and that he had seen it about 3 times. He tried to follow him, but he was gone.

Cecilia Cedeno, who owns a liquor store, showed the humanoid in front of the store to a group of people. The creature laughed loudly and ran away.

The police were called in to investigate the story.
