The main witness was walking the dog with his partner, an infant in a stroller, and their 5-year-old son. They were in a small area of ancient forest in the middle of the estate.
She was holding onto the dog's leash and was just telling her partner that she always felt like she was being watched in the area when the dog suddenly slipped away from the barking of some trees. The dog is a fox terrier, so the witness let him go, thinking that he was hunting something.
She followed the dog into the bushes to see what he wanted, and was surprised to find a man standing there, dressed all in black.
The witness was a little confused about the dog barking at the stranger, so she mumbled an apology and turned to leave. When she turned around, he suddenly realized that the stranger had no face, no features, he was just all black.
The witness turned around, and the strange figure disappeared. She was standing about three feet (0.9 m) away from the figure. She ran out of the trees and told her partner that there was a man in the woods. Terrified, they left the area.

The witness felt a bit embarrassed that the dog had barked at the stranger, so she mumbled an apology and turned to go. As she turned he suddenly realized that the stranger had no face, no features at all, he was just black all over. The witness spun back around and the strange figure was gone. She had been standing about 3 ft away from the figure. She ran out of the trees and told her partner that there was a man in the woods. Terrified they then left the area.
