Initial data
As shoppers were leaving stores and restaurants in Winstead, Connecticut, several onlookers noticed something in the sky. An oval-shaped glowing object was clearly visible in the night sky. Several shoppers grabbed their cell phones and began filming the unknown ship, which was emitting a bluish hue. Witnesses said there was no sound from the object. Some witnesses claimed that the UFO would appear, disappear, and then reappear in a slightly different area of the sky.
