I also saw lights just after midnight in the Bullock area of Cumbernauld, I must have counted about a dozen fire lights floating in formation high up in the sky. I just assumed they were Chinese lanterns, since it was New Year's Eve.

I'm glad other people saw them, as I just looked out the window before going to bed.
