Good afternoon, Andrea. My name is Pablo, and I am a native of Rosario, Santa Fe. I have been on the islands near my city for over 20 years.
The reason for this post is to share an experience I had with a group of friends (2 friends and me) while fishing a few years ago, I think around December 2010.
We set off from the Henry Morgan Boat Pool in Rosario, heading into the service canal that runs parallel to the route connecting Rosario to Victoria. We followed this course up to 15 km east of the toll road.
Our first experience occurred around 1: 50 a.m.… We anchored and fished at the confluence of the stream known as the Boca de la Milonga and the lagoon into which it flows, which then becomes a channel en route to Victoria. We were about 7 km from the collection point when, at a distance of one kilometer, we saw a light going from east to west along the route or parallel to it.
We thought it was an airplane, and since everyone had very bright lights, we started to point a beam of light at it. The plane, of course, approached, and its lights became brighter, as if illuminating us. At this point, we were startled and wondering what it could be, becoming wary and defensive to the point that one of my friends reached for his gun.
The situation lasted about 10 seconds before the object changed direction after coming within one to two kilometers of us. What was strange was that there were red and green lights revolving around it, and there were at least four of what appeared to be small portholes emitting amber light from within.
It was very strange, because it didn't make any noise and seemed to float smoothly.
I want to make it clear that it was a starry, windless night, and nothing could have caused the ship to drift because of the noise. The fact is that we were stunned by this sight and began to guess.
The ship disappeared to the north after a turn. I tried to record it on my mobile phone, but I don't know what happened. I was so nervous that I forgot to press a button or something. Right after that, I searched for the video, but I didn't find it.
After this event, we returned to the source of the stream on the edge of Granadero Baigorria at the distillery crossroads, and we managed to make a recording on a mobile phone. Between the 4th and 6th seconds, you can see a triangular UFO that appears and disappears in the light of the lights.Rosario-Victoria Bridge. I received some comments from a family living in a building in Rosario facing the islands, and that night they saw lights moving in the area of the island.
