Initial data
The witness was walking home from a friend's house at 1: 15 on September 21, 2014, when the object was first spotted.
"It was a dark sky with light clouds, and a ball of light was visible," the witness said. "It didn't have the shape of the Northern Lights. I thought it was a meteor, but it never picked up speed."
The witness decided to photograph the object. The five images were submitted along with the MUFON report, which was filed on September 24, 2014. The witness described the distance to the object and its size.
"The object was a bit difficult to assess because of the distance, but I believe it was the size of a car tire. It slowly approached my direction, seemed to hover, then corrected course and smoothly flew away within 10 seconds. I was worried because I didn't know what it was or that it was coming at me.»
