"My husband and I went out in our trucks to the yard to smoke our last cigarette, and my husband wanted to wait until midnight to wish me a happy birthday," said an eyewitness.
"We didn't bring our phones with us, because we didn't plan for a long time. I turn around and see "it" coming through the top of a tree on the opposite side of the street and hovering at about 20 feet (6 m), and it was flying over us at 2 mph and entering my backyard and house.
In my opinion, the shape of it was like a spiritualist nozzle with four ports / circles - and something in the middle between the ports? "This" was made of some kind of metal material. I saw it about 20 to 25 feet above me, so I can see the belly of this "thing".
The reason is that it was hidden or transparent to me. In my opinion, "it" had a predator's cloak/transparency, not quite invisible, as if some of it could be seen, but it was blurry, like summer heat. The main color for me was a dull black / gray with some shade of bronze, not bright at all. It had four ports - two on each side - this color was reddish / orange / yellowish - a very dim glow with a certain black border around the ports, and something was in the middle of "its" center between the ports?
"It" looked like it was made from a single sheet of metal. There were no panels, rivets, sections, windows, smoke, or smell. When I first saw it, I couldn't believe my eyes or my brain. My husband and I froze in shock.
All we could do was spin around. I wanted to run to the middle of the street to see if he could see me, but I couldn't move. Then I wanted to throw a lighter at him to see if he was making a sound or what his reaction was, but I was afraid it would kill me or something.
We saw it pass over us, behind my house and yard. My feelings about it were scared, nervous, curious, adrenaline, denial, reality shattered. My husband didn't want to participate in this report, so he showed me his point of view and his sketch." He was asking for a lighter when he heard leaves falling outside. It was then that he saw "it" creeping up to the top of the tree. He passed through the top of the tree.
Its description of "this": Color: flat black/gray, brown, reddish/orange. My husband says he doesn't know if it was organic in itself. There were no odors, traces/fumes. In his opinion, it had a moth-like body with inverted wings. To him," his " transparency was like the material of a bee's wing, I think, a membrane. He was excited, nervous, shaken.
After it happened, I told him to just draw it - not to talk. I wanted to make sure I wasn't mistaken. He drew his sketch. I drew my own. It was so creepy. I knew we'd seen something.
When we think about what happened, we notice a lot of strange things. First, we live in a big city, one block away from a busy street, a concrete factory, and in a neighborhood-there's always some sound. About 10 seconds before that, there was no noise. No animals, no traffic, no environmental noise. The street lights and house lights didn't flicker or go out as the thing passed us. The streetlight didn't illuminate "it." And "it" didn't cast a shadow. It seemed to reflect light. It seemed holographic."
"It" was about 20 feet (6 m)above us. It measured about 5-7 feet (1.5-2.1 m) long, 3-5 feet (0.9-1.5 m) wide, and 1-3 feet (0.3-0.9 m) high.
The next morning we went out to see if anything had happened to the tree, the street, or the house. Nothing happened - no branches were broken/bent, nothing was burned. Not a single trace of anything. The birds still gather there.
We don't know where it went after that. We don't know if it went through the trees in my backyard or the house behind us. We just saw him walking behind our house and yard.
This is so weird. Was there something there? Was there any point in being so low and slow? "It" saw us? Both our conceptions of reality are destroyed. My husband never doubted what he saw. Sometimes I deny it, but I know what I saw. It's just hard for me to accept what happened, and my mind has captured the event forever. How can this be? Will he come back? Now I constantly look at the trees and the sky. I do not know if he will return.
