Two people, climbing a hill in the afternoon in the village of North Huntingdon, noticed an elongated object of silver metal shape in the shape of a "pill", rounded at the ends.
The object moved rapidly across the sky and was soon blocked by trees. When they reached the open view, the object was no longer visible.
Over the years, numerous UFO sightings have been reported in the Irvine and North Huntingdon areas.
