I was driving east on I-12 when I noticed a small plane making a very sharp turn at low altitude.
When I searched for the plane a second time, I noticed a stationary chrome object in the sky at an altitude of about 1,000 feet (300 m) above the next exit from the interstate highway. as I got closer, the object lowered the chrome cover about 300 feet. long. the object had a small ball moving around a larger object. The larger object with the tether didn't move.
I stopped at the exit and noticed an object still between 800 and 1000 feet (240-300 m) above me. After about 5 minutes, the object retracted the chrome brush and slowly moved east, then the object increased speed and disappeared from view in less than 1 second. This happened at 16: 00, on January 24, 2015, when the sky was clear.
I called the National Weather Service in Slidell. just 15 miles away from the surveillance site to see if they were doing anything that might explain what I saw.
I also contacted local airports to see if any pilots had reported the sighting, and also called New Orleans International Airport to see if they could confirm the radar sighting. The FAA has not responded to my call as of 28.01.2015.
I understand the principles of lift and aerodynamic performance. It wasn't a simple weather balloon or a weather balloon. It defied gravity without wings - that's the noise of the engines. I tried my best to explain it, but since it remains a UFO!

Time: 4:00 PM,
Summary: Driving east on I-12 when I noticed a small airplane making a very sharp turn at low altitude. When I looked for the plane a second time I noticed a chrome object in the sky stationary about 1,000 ft. above the next interstate exit. as I got closer the object had lowered a chrome teather about 300ft. long. the object had a small orb moving around the larger object. The larger object with the tether was not moving. I stopped at the exit and observed the object still about 800 to 1000 ft. above me. After about 5 minutes the object retracted the chrome teather and slowly moved to the east, then the object increased speed and was out of sight in less than 1 second. This took place at 4:00 PM, the skies clear on January 24th, 2015.
I called the national Weather service in slidell la. just 15 miles from the sighting to see if they were doing anything that might explain what I saw. I also contacted local airports to see if any pilots reported a sighting, and also call the New Orleans International Airport to see if they could validate the sighting on radar. the FAA has not returned my call as of 1/28/2015. I understand the principles of lift and airfoils. This was not a plain or a weather balloon. It defied gravity without wings are noise from engines. I have tried my best to explain this but so for it remains a UFO!
