An eyewitness from the city of The Hague reports:
It was a clear evening, and to the right of the full moon I saw three strong light sources that formed a triangle at an equal distance from each other. They seemed to be moving slowly to the right and up, in the same triangle, and for 15 seconds all three lights went out until they were no longer visible.
The brightness of the light was about the same as that of the street lighting below, also the same color, cold white light.

DEN HAAG, ZH — Het was een heldere avond en rechts naast een volle maan zag ik drie sterke lichtbronnen die op een gelijke afstand van elkaar een driehoek vormde. Ze leken langzaam iets naar rechts en omhoog te bewegen, in diezelfde driehoek formatie en gedurende 15 seconden dimde alledrie de lichten totdat ze niet meer zichtbaar waren. De sterkte van het licht was ongeveer gelijk aan dat van de straatverlichting eronder, ook dezelfde kleur, witkoel licht.
