Around 1: 00 am on New Year's Day, I was walking home with my partner. We saw an unexplained object in the sky, the best description I can give is that it looked like a lantern.
The "object" looked like a kind of rectangular transparent package with a very large orange flame inside. It would be logical to think that this is a fiery weather balloon, etc. or even a comet from my description , but I firmly believe that it is something else.
The "object" was too big and moving too fast with a very steady and precise course (following the coastline) to be anything other than a guided ship.

It would be logical to think that it was a flaming weather balloon etc or even a comet from my description but I am adamant it was something else. The ‘object’ was too large and travelling too fast with a very steady precise course (following the coastline) to be anything other than a steered craft.
