Initial data
Approaching the house, I noticed a bright orange light in the sky in the east, I stopped the car, got out of the car and noticed that the light was moving and blinking dimmer, brighter, dimmer (not lit and goes out).
It didn't move like an airplane, it changed its trajectory slightly and too often, then it stopped for about 10 seconds, then it disappeared, but not as a burnout fade, rather a fade in the distance fade, but as if it was still standing, if that makes any sense.
I contacted Airways Corporation and they didn't have any planes nearby for more than 20 minutes and informed me that the cloud cover was at an altitude of 3000 meters, it was below the cloud cover or it was shining very brightly through the cloud cover. It wasn't a signal rocket, it was too high for that.
The time indicated is 04: 05 NZ the time and time when Airways Corporation was contacted was 04: 12. They also said that there are no deviations from the norm on the radar.

Summary: Driving up my driveway, I noticed a bright orange light in the sky to the east, I bought my vehicle to a halt and got out of my car and noticed the light was moving, and flashing dimmer, brighter, dimmer (not on and off), it was not moving like a aircraft, it was changing paths slightly and too frequently, then it came to a stand still for about 10 seconds, then it faded out but not like a burn out fade, more a disappearing into distance fading but as if it was still standing still if that makes any sense. I contacted Airways Corporation and they haven’t had any aircraft in the vicinity for over 20 minutes and reported to me that the cloud cover was at 3000 metres, it was below the cloud cover or shone very brightly through the cloud cover. It wasn’t a flare gun, too high for that. The time given is 04:05 NZ time and time Airways Corporation was contacted was 04:12. They also told there was no abnormalities on radar. I don’t have a problem if someone wants to contact me over this matter.
