August 1991. A village in the Moshovsky district. I went home late, looked at my feet, thought about something of my own. The moon came out from behind the clouds, illuminating the road brighter and brighter.

When the brightness of the moonlight became so strong that it distracted me from my thoughts, I raised my head and saw that a large glowing ball was flying towards me. There was no moon at all. The light came from the ball — smooth, yellowish, bright, but not blinding. There was no sound or trace, as if from an airplane. He flew unusually easily, not like planes and helicopters fly. This is the impression of a single moment.

The house was about 200 meters away. I ran, not feeling my feet under me. After a few seconds on the run, I realized that the ball was gradually reducing its speed and height, but it was quickly approaching. The fear was such as I had never experienced in my life before. When I reached the house, I realized that the balloon had stopped moving, hovered over the road. I can't remember the approximate distance to it, maybe 100-200 meters.

I woke up my parents. They looked at the suspended balloon for several minutes, forbade me to go out on the porch and ... went to bed. While I was looking for theater binoculars to examine the ball, it disappeared. But there was a trace of the same shape, like a haze. It gradually faded and disappeared after 20-30 minutes.

This was my second encounter with a UFO. The first one happened as a child on the way to school. It was light, there were girlfriends nearby, and we didn't understand what we saw, so there was no fear. For about a minute, we watched the glowing ball at a much higher altitude than I saw the second time. Then it was covered by clouds.

I hope there won't be a third meeting.
