Strange flying creatures can be seen from time to time around the world.

Perhaps the most complete and detailed description of such a phenomenon was left to us by the famous American scientist Ivan Sanderson. Here is how he describes an unusual creature he saw in 1932 in the jungles of Cameroon:

"I had not managed to swim to the middle of the river when I heard the screams of the comrades who remained on the shore.

I turned around: a strange creature was flying straight at me. Sharp, webbed wings whizzed through the air. The huge mouth was stretched out as if in a malicious grin, it was bordered by a white semicircle of teeth. Pterodactyl!

A gigantic winged lizard that should have died in prehistoric times. Before dusk fell on the earth, this chimeric creature once again flew in the opposite direction and disappeared into the swamp."
