In the 1950s, a police officer in England claimed that he encountered a low-flying "heavenly jellyfish" while riding his bicycle while patrolling the area.

This man claimed that the jellyfish seemed to "float" in the air right in front of him, and when he crashed into it, he felt as if he had fallen into a soft blanket, which smelled a little unpleasant like something like mold.
