An eyewitness from the city of Waals (Limburg region) noticed 3 white spheres in the shape of the letter V in the sky:

Three balloons could be seen at a considerable height, flying in the shape of the letter V. They were flying very slowly in a westerly direction, it seemed as if they were floating.

We watched them for at least three minutes before they disappeared from our field of vision one by one. Unfortunately, the photo was impossible to take so they were too high.

VAALS, LB — Er waren drie bollen te zien op flinke hoogte, vliegend in een v formatie. Ze vlogen heel traag in westelijk richting het leek alsof ze zweefden. We hebben er zeker drie minuten naar staan te kijken waarna ze een voor een uit ons zicht verdwenen. Een foto was helaas onmogelijk om te maken zo hoog vlogen ze
