NORAD sends two fighter jets on a UFO hunt
Two US National Guard fighter jets sent to the area to check for unidentified flying objects spotted by radar operators did not find anything, a NORAD representative in North Bay said yesterday.
The spokesman said the two fighter jets were dispatched from NORAD Base in Selfridge, Michigan, on Tuesday after radar observations by personnel at the Canadian Forces base in nearby Faulconbridge. Police in several districts also saw four objects that they described as bright white lights.
Last night, two patrol officers from the Sudbury area reported another UFO sighting, but Falconbridge did not say whether these objects were tracked using radar.
