At approximately 17:05, the author of the original material received a call from a witness (GT) who reported that he had seen the object from his apartment on the third floor. The sky was clear, except for a pink haze, very low going to the distant horizon. He was working on his computer in the living room, and the window of his living room faced southwest, towards a small chimney, which is located across the highway from a giant superstock. And for one reason or another, some small elongated glowing dot attracted his attention.
He watched it for about half a minute or so and said:
"Hey, this thing is moving!"
There were no clouds in the sky. At first he thought it was a cloud through which the sun was shining, because he had seen it before. He gradually moved away from the smaller stack from right to left. He grabbed his 35mm camera and took a couple of pictures through the window. Then he put on his shoes, went out onto the snow-covered balcony and took some more pictures. He watched her float over the horizon. A couple of times it seemed that it stopped. It reminded him of a balloon. He said:
"It just didn't look that shape; it was elongated and then it became sharper."
He also noticed a jet with a long trail of steam. But the case continued when he took a few more pictures. From his apartment, he saw an object at eye level. The object went into a hole in the rocks, where clouds accumulated, and gradually disappeared. He said he should have gone to a specialty store to process the film, instead of Wal-Mart, because there was nothing in the photos at all.
He used a Minolta 5000 Maxim camera with a 35-80 mm zoom lens. It has been set to infinity and also has manual adjustment.

Date: Saturday, November 23, 1996.
Location: Sudbury, Ontario.
At about 5:05 p.m., I received a call from another witness (GT), who reported that he had seen the same object from his third-floor apartment. The sky was clear, with the exception of a pink haze very low to the distant horizon. He was working on his computer in the living room and his living room window faces out to the southwest, towards a small smoke stack which is located across the highway from the giant super stack. And for some reason or another, a sort of a small elongated dot of light caught his attention. He watched it for about half a minute or so and said: AGee, that thing is moving!@ There were no clouds in the sky. At first, he thought it was a cloud with the sun shining off of it because he'd seen that before. It was gradually moving away from the smaller stack, from right to left. He grabbed his 35 mm camera and took a couple of pictures through the window. Then, he put his boots on, went out on the snow-filled balcony and took a few more shots of it. He watched it as it drifted across the horizon. Once or twice, it seemed to stop. It reminded him of a balloon. He said: "It just didn't look that shape; it was elongated and then, it became more of a point."
He also noticed a jet with a long vapour contrail. But the thing continued on as he snapped a few more pictures. From his apartment, he was seeing the object at eye level. The object went down in a dip in the rocks, where some clouds were accumulating, and gradually disappeared. He said he should have gone to a specialty shop to get the film processed instead of Wal-Mart because the photos didn't show anything at all. The camera he used was a Minolta 5000 Maxim, and the lens that was on it was a zoom 35 - 80 mm. It was set on infinity and it has manual adjust, also.
