A friend of the author of the original material (JM) called and reported that someone in the Snake River on Wednesday, September 16, was noticed in the afternoon. At about 13:00, two people - a man and a woman - were returning from lunch and walking to the office of the Cutler First Nation Band when they noticed a silver object in the shape of a hamburger hovering overhead. It was below the level of the clouds and stayed there for a few seconds, then moved further away and stopped; at that moment it looked like a light. Then, finally, it took off very quickly.
A woman called Science North to report the sighting, and someone there mentioned that UFOs had been reported several times, and that many of them had been spotted in and around animal mutilation sites.
The person on the phone even mentioned the fact that in most cases the corpses of animals fell from the air, leaving a depression in the ground as a result of the impact, and that animals usually lacked certain organs and body parts.
