Two men who went on a five-day fishing trip witnessed two separate sightings during a camp on the Missinabbi River.
On the evening of June 8, at about 22:00, they saw something similar to a star in the southeastern sky. They watched as he fell straight down and stopped for about 5 seconds, and then took off at a 90-degree angle to the direction he was coming from, at an amazing speed. He was faster than the plane and was flying in an easterly direction. After a couple of seconds, he disappeared from sight.
Then, at about 10:20 p.m. that night, they saw two lights moving in the northwest sky that looked like car headlights, 100 feet apart. They were at an altitude of about a thousand feet and were moving in a straight line to the southern horizon. Their speed was the same as that of a general aviation aircraft. In both cases, there was no sound at all.

They watched as it came straight down and stopped for about 5 seconds, then took off at a 90 angle from the direction it came from, at a terrific speed. It was faster than a plane and was heading in an easterly direction. It was gone from sight within a couple of seconds.
Then, at approximately 10:20 p.m. that same night, they saw two lights moving in the northwestern sky, which looked like car headlights, 100 feet apart from each other. They were about a thousand feet up and traveled in a straight line towards the southern horizon. Their speed was the same as a bush plane. In both cases, there was no sound at all.
