Two men (MD and GG) were returning from their camp near Mattawa when one of the men noticed an unusual object in the sky.
They described it as a triangular shape with a curved back or in the shape of a boomerang. All they could see was his underside. And on it they could see an array of eight colored lights, four of which formed a diamond-shaped pattern near the front.
When he passed over them at an angle, they estimated his distance to be less than 200 feet and about 150 feet in the air above the trees. The object was moving in a south-north direction, and there was absolutely no sound coming from it.
The observation lasted from 10 to 15 seconds.
