On Monday, April 23, 2001, the author of the original material received the following email:

"Read the newspaper article some time ago, including your email address.

I'm watching a bright light pass across the sky from east to west and south on Halloween night around 19:00. I've never seen anything about it on the news and wondered if anything was reported to you.

Let me know. It happened in Downtown Nairn, Ontario."

Location: Nairn Centre, Ontario.

On Monday, April 23, 2001, I received the following e-mail:

'Hi ufoman

Read an article in the paper a while back including your e-mail address. I watch a bright light go all the way across the sky east to west to the South on Halloween night about 7:00 PM. Never saw anything about it in the news and wondered if you had anything reported. Let me know. This occurred in Nairn Centre, Ontario.'
