Initial data
The author of the original material received this written report through colleague Todd Fraser on September 30 , 2002 .:
"At the end of May 2002, a UFO was spotted in Timmins, Ontario. It was about 21:30. My sister-in-law was taking the dog out to the backyard when she looked up at the sky. It was a clear, warm night, and she noticed a garland of lights scattered by fists in ten, in the southeastern part of the sky.
At first she thought they were stars, but then she noticed a chain of nine or twelve lights moving slowly across the sky, keeping a distance from each other when moving. She described it as a "convoy" of blue lights moving quite slowly until the last one disappeared from view. My brother came out and also witnessed this observation.
No aircraft or other activity was observed in the area that night, and the lights were not flashing or blinking . . . just moving in a straight line. They moved from the northwest to the southeast, and then disappeared."

* the distance between the objects was constant.
Original news
Date: Late May 2002.
Location: Timmins, Ontario.
I received this written report through my colleague Todd Fraser on September 30, 2002:
'In late May 2002, a UFO sighting occurred in Timmins, Ontario. The time was approximately 9:30 p.m. My sister-in-law was taking the dog out to the backyard when she looked up to the sky. It was a clear, warm night and she noticed a string of lights, about ten fists apart, in the south eastern part of the sky.
At first, she thought they were stars, but then she noticed the string of about nine to twelve lights slowly moving across the sky, keeping their distance from each other as they moved. She described it as a "convoy" of light blue lights moving rather slowly until the last one disappeared out of sight. My brother came out and witnessed the sighting as well.
No aircraft or other activity was mentioned in the area that night, and the lights were not blinking or flashing . . . just moving in a straight line. They moved from northwest to southeast, and then vanished.'

* the space between the objects was constant.
