On April 22, a work colleague told the author of the original material about the observation that her mother observed from her home in Lively.

It happened on March 29 at 2 a.m. She said it was like a huge red Christmas light in the sky. She watched him until he flew north towards Chelmsford.

The object was unusually bright and hung motionless in the sky. After a few seconds, the object suddenly flew away in a northerly direction.
