Initial data
On Sunday, November 26, the author of the original material received two messages from a resident of Greater Sudbury, who claimed to have collided closely with a small object.
The first message included a video (not published) that he shot on his iphone before the object went into the distance. The second message was sent after a while, it explained in detail how he observed this object and how he captured it on his iphone:
"I have a good written event log, very detailed. I am a journalist and information technology consultant. My reputation has already suffered from this stupid observation. No one will ever believe that I saw something. Just let people watch the video and laugh at it like it's not mine. Bullshit. I actually saw it fly about 25-50 feet (7.5- 15m) away from me before flying off into the clouds when I finally pulled out my iPhone to record.
After a close encounter, all I got was what is shown in the video.
I heard it with my own ears; I felt his vibration or pulse as he approached me. I was blinded by its strangely bright lights.
I was surprised and confused by its harmless size. It was the size of a dining table or a small hatchback.
I thought, "How the hell can someone fit in this thing?" "Who built this thing? Why is it so small?"
Then I thought maybe an unmanned army drone. But why scour my farm with colloidal flashing lights that make it easy to shoot and destroy with a rifle. Or tiny aliens with a sense of humor ... or cautious curiosity ...
He moved faster than a rocket, and mostly silently. Changes the direction of turns by 90 degrees; instant change of path. Very fast. Even playfully. Maybe he's mocking me or is afraid of my camera phone or something like that.
As soon as I pulled out the iphone for recording, it flew about 6-15 km into the sky. Far enough away that a multicolored dot appears on the screen, similar to any other silly prank video. Arrrrg! Why me? I'm one of those UFO fanatics. I am not a believer, but I fully believe in science.
Stunned."

On Sunday, November 26, I received two messages from a resident of Greater Sudbury who claimed to have had a close encounter with a small object. The first message included the video he took with his iphone before the object moved away in the distance. The second message was sent a while later, explaining in detail the observation he had of this object, and how he captured it on his iphone:
"I got a good written log of events very detailed. I'm a Journalist and IT Consultant. My reputation has already taken a hit from this stupid sighting. Nobody will ever believe I saw anything. So I stopped provided the story to go with the video. Just let people chew up the video and make fun of it like it's not mine, ha.
Bullshit tho. I actually saw it fly up close like 25-50ft from me before darting off into the clouds when I finally pulled my iphone out to record.
After the close encounter, all I got is what the video shows.
I heard it with my ears; I felt its vibrations or pulse when it circled me close. I was blinded by its oddly colourful lights.
I was amused and baffled by its unthreatening size. It was the size of a dinner table or small hatchback.
I thought, "how the hell could anyone fit inside that thing?" "Who built this thing? Why so small?"
Then I thought maybe unmanned army drone of sorts. But why snoop around my farm with colloidal flashing lights that make it easy to shoot and destroy with a rifle. Or tiny aliens with a sense of Humour...or cautious Curiosity...
It moved faster than a rocket and silent, mostly. Changes direction 90 degree turns; instant change of path. Very fast. Playful, even. Maybe taunting me or afraid of my camera phone or something.
Once I pulled the iphone out to record, it jetted off to about 6-15km away in the sky. Just far enough to show a colourful dot in the screen that looks like every other silly hoax video. Arrrrg!
As if. Why me? I'm one of those UFO fanatics. I'm not a believer, but I believe in science wholly. Or believed in science much more than before this.
Stunned."
