A taxi driver friend sent the following message to the author of the original material at 1:57 a.m., Thursday, May 11:
"The crew from Westjet has just been dropped off from the airport. They said they saw something when they were boarding. They assumed it was a drone. I said I doubted it. They said it was a bright light illuminating the hut. It didn't have a landing gear."
He asked him how high they were, and he said:
"About 5,000 feet, I think."
He urged the crew of the Westjet plane to contact him about this observation.

A cabby friend of mine sent me the following message at 1:57 a.m., Thursday, May 11:
"Just dropped off the crew from Westjet from the airport. They said they saw something when they were coming in to land.
They were playing off that it was a drone. I said I doubt it.
It was a bright light they said lit up the cabin.
They had the landing gear down.'
I asked him about what altitude were they at, and he said: 'I guess maybe 5000 feet or so.'
I urge the crew of the Westjet flight to contact me in regards to this sighting.
