A metal plate with a sheet of light was seen in the sky by an eyewitness from the city of South Sharvode (North Holland).
He's writing:
I was looking out the window at 1:20 a.m. on Wednesday, October 20th, because I couldn't sleep, and suddenly I see a bright light coming from the east.
At first I thought it was a plane, but this object was brighter than the plane, flew lower and suddenly very quickly turned out to be very close. As he approached, I heard a rushing sound that reminded me of a balloon rising, but a little quieter.
When the object was close to my neighbor's house, it hovered for a few seconds, so I could see part of the object and see that it is made of metal plates and has a circular disc-shaped shape. Due to the bright light, the entire object was not fully visible.
After being silent for a few seconds, the object quickly flew away to the west.
I'm posting this in the hope that people in my neighborhood have seen it too, and will leave a comment.

Metalen schotel met vel licht
ZUID-SCHARWOUDE, NH — Ik zat op woensdag 20 oktober om 01:20 uur uit mijn raam te kijken omdat ik niet kon slapen en ik zie opeens uit oostelijke richting een fel licht mijn kant op komen. Ik dacht eerst dat het een vliegtuig was, maar dit object gaf feller licht dan een vliegtuig en vloog lager en was opeens heel snel dichtbij. Toen het dichterbij kwam hoorde ik een soort ruisend geluid wat me deed denken aan een omhooggaande luchtballon maar dan wat zachter. Toen het object dichtbij het huis van mijn buren was hing het een paar seconden stil, daardoor kon ik het object voor een deel bekijken en zag ik dat het uit metalen platen bestond en het een ronde schijf achtige vorm had. Door het felle licht was het hele object niet helemaal zichtbaar. Nadat het een paar seconde stil hing, vloog het object snel weg richting het westen.
Ik plaats dit bericht in de hoop dat mensen in mijn omgeving dit misschien ook hebben gezien, en een reactie plaatsen.
