UFO. Russia

Sometime in the mid-70s, L. Bogoyavlensky called and said that late in the evening, in October, he saw an extraordinary sight.

"Where the sun had just set, a dot lit up. As if tearing off from it and gradually increasing in diameter, rings went across the sky. One in the other and so on - from the center. The rings occupied a large sector of the sky in the west, growing larger and closer to the city, as it were."

They were seen by many Sverdlovsk residents, and not only residents of our city.

"On the night of June 10-11, 1989, between 2 and 3 a.m., I saw something very unusual from the window of my apartment. Here is an image (very approximate) of an object on the ground (then there is a drawing of a giant lens - a side view hanging in the area of the Central Stadium.- E. Ya.). The disk glowing with pink gas (the color of sunset) was approaching. Rather, it increased in size while remaining in place. When the disk reached its largest size, it began to dazzle the eyes. It has been going on since I saw him for 2-3 minutes, and the disk began to shrink in size, turned into a glowing dot and disappeared.

I couldn't move away from the window for a few more minutes, because everything I saw struck me. And again of the same shape, the object reappeared from the same point. It quickly reached the same size and hovered, as it seemed to me, somewhere above the dam (I was looking out of the window of the 5th floor of the house behind the School of arts on Lunacharsky Street). There were no clouds in the sky after the storm. But this very object began to transform, as if clouds were covering the month. The moon in the sky (in the west) I didn't find it.

It lasted much longer than the first time, but, taking the form of a disk (its side view), the object disappeared to the same point in the same way." (T. Smolenkova).
