This conversation with Valery Maksimovich Bunakov, an eyewitness who observed an incomprehensible phenomenon over the center of the village of Suksun, was recorded a little over an hour after what he saw.

- On October 17 at 18:50 I was walking along Karl Marx Street. I went down from SPTU No. 69 to the center of the village. At the intersection of Zelenaya and Karl Marx Streets, I noticed a glowing object. For a light bulb, it was high. I went out onto the road to get a better look, because the trees were in the way, and saw a glowing oval-shaped body. Its dimensions were small. The light, like from a daylight lamp, came from him in a cone downwards. Moreover, the object itself shone brighter than the beam. This object moved slowly upwards. His speed was barely noticeable against the background of the surrounding objects.

I walked past the pharmacy, watching an object floating in the sky, a cone of light still emanated from it.

And suddenly... rays began to grow from the top of the cone. Moreover, it was not an instantaneous inclusion of a searchlight type, but the rays began to grow. One is longer, the other is shorter. And then suddenly this object twisted such a spiral, 2-3 turns, and from its ends, as from spinning sparklers, light circles went. In the center of this spiral, something flashed a faint star and disappeared, and a light ring went from the place of disappearance. It began to expand and quickly fade. After 3-4 seconds, all the glow seemed to dissolve and disappear.

- Have you ever observed such a phenomenon before? Can you convey your state at that moment?

- I didn't feel anything special about myself, there wasn't even a feeling of fear. I just noted that I had not observed such a phenomenon before and could not compare it with something earthly, compare it, assume some kind of origin.

- Valentin Maksimovich, you are a technically competent person, you are related to both radio engineering and radio electronics. This phenomenon cannot be compared with an electric charge, a lightning discharge?

- No, I can't compare this with anything named. This origin is not atmospheric and, I think, not man-made, I cannot evaluate it with my "scientific" base.

- Have you ever read about UFOs?

- I had to, but I have not met such a description.
