On October 18, N. Tsepilov, a photojournalist for the district newspaper, and I stopped for lunch at the Klyuchevskaya canteen on our way to the Lenin Memorial collective farm. Suddenly there was a conversation about unidentified flying objects with a neighbor at the table. It was Alexander Ivanovich Chebykin, the mechanic of the kolkhoz "Keys". And here 's what he told:
- On October 17, at eight o'clock in the evening, we were driving with a friend in a car. At once a white ball with rays appeared in the sky, it was flying slowly. Somewhere above the office of the collective farm "Keys" dispersed into oval circles.
The object moved in turns and seemed to crumble at once, dissolved into space. I have never seen such a phenomenon.
In the board of the collective farm "Memory of Ilyich" after official business, we talked about a mysterious phenomenon. Human Resources inspector Taisya Petrovna Klepalova offered to talk about this topic with her husband. He, they say, saw an incomprehensible glow last night.
And here we are visiting Alexey Georgievich Klepalov.
- I went to my sister's last night at about 7:15-7:20. In the area of the cemetery, which is northwest towards Suksun, a searchlight was shining, at first as a beam of light. Then it turned out to be a ball. This ball flew for about three seconds. I was a little scared, because the day before I read that somewhere in Vologda my brother also went to his sister and he was burned. Well, I'm here, let's look for a place to hide as soon as possible. Just picked up the pace. And the balloon was flying. Then spiral waves turned out of it. Then there was a smoke cloud. And the ball disappeared. I stayed with my sister for 10 minutes, I didn't say anything to her, so as not to scare her.
In the direction where the ball disappeared, it was as if the northern lights were observed. Red and orange colors.
- Alexey Grigoryevich, is this not a ball lightning, not the Northern lights? What do you think?
- I saw a ball, it's not like that, there's no comparison. And it's not even a comet, I've seen a comet too. For a second I thought, maybe it's an atomic bomb…
Here Alexey Georgievich laughed contagiously and loudly at his fright…
