October 9, 1990 from 20:30 to 20:55. it was clear and cool in Hanmer (Ontario). The eyewitness looked to the south, saw an object bright as a planet descending from the sky at an angle, and then "floating" over the rocky hills, slowly heading east.
Stopping at the house to get binoculars, I drove up to the forest at the end of another street and from there noticed that the shine of the object dissipated, and it began to have the shape of an egg and white color. When I looked between the bare branches, I noticed that the object moved from side to side about three times, and then stopped for a second or two. Then it suddenly went out, as if someone had flipped a switch. Then the object reappeared at a slightly lower altitude.
After leaving the forest, I continued driving my car up the hill, from which I had a beautiful view of the surrounding valley. While I was driving, I couldn't see the object anywhere. But when I got to the top of the hill, I scanned the sky for it, moving from right to left, until I noticed a large pinkish-red oval-shaped fire in the place where I knew that the Falconbridge radar base was located.
It hovered beside him for several minutes, pulsing like an emergency road flare. There was absolutely no sound throughout the entire observation.

2 - October 9, 1990: Evening sighting. Time: Between 8:30 and 8:55 p.m. Location: Hanmer, Ontario. Weather: Clear and cool. Figure 1- Looking to the south, I saw an object as bright as a planet come down from the sky at an angle and then "floated" above the rocky hills, slowly heading east.
Figure 2 - After stopping at the house to grab my binoculars, I drove up to the woods at the end of another street and from there, I noticed that the object's brilliance had dissipated and it appeared to be egg-shaped and white in colour.
Figure 3 - As I looked between the bare branches, I noticed that the object was moving from side to side about three times, then stopped for a second or two. Then suddenly blinked out, as if someone had flipped a switch. The object then reappeared at a slightly lower elevation.
Figure 4 - After leaving the woods, I proceeded to drive my car up a hill that would allow me an excellent view of the surrounding valley. As I was driving, I could not see the object anywhere. But as I crested the hilltop, I scanned the skies looking for it, panning from my right to my left until I noticed a large pinkish-red, oval-shaped light in the area when I knew the Falconbridge Radar Base was located. It hovered next to it for several minutes, pulsating like an emergency road flare. Throughout the entire sighting, there was absolutely no sound.
