A mysterious story was told on the pages of the district newspaper "Trubchevskaya Land" by a local resident.
The other day, Alexander Georgievich Lumin came to the editorial office of the district and reported an interesting fact. Late in the evening on February 3 at 22 hours 40 minutes, he went outside to find out if it had started to freeze.
Stars twinkled in the dark sky. Suddenly Alexander Georgievich's attention was attracted by an unusual phenomenon. From the side of Taurus, a fireball moved smoothly across the sky, followed by a small "tail". He flew at a low altitude, parallel to Lenin Street, where Alexander Georgievich lives. The balloon made a slight noise, similar to the rustling of leaves.
Eight seconds passed. The object has already appeared over the police building during this time.
Alexander Georgievich hurried to the house so that his family could see this extraordinary phenomenon. When everyone went outside, the stars were still shining in the sky, everything was as usual — the fireball disappeared without a trace.
— What was flying over our city anyway? - the journalists of the district ask a question and answer: Most likely, a UFO, the so-called unidentified flying object. As the American ufologist and astronomer Joseph Allen Hynek said, such objects, their general dynamics, the nature of the glow do not find a logical, generally accepted explanation. All this is a mystery not only for eyewitnesses, but remains unexplained even after a close study of all available evidence by specialists who are able, if possible, to identify the phenomenon from the point of view of common sense.
In popular culture, the appearance of UFOs is associated with the visit of intelligent beings to Earth. Many people, including officials and scientists, are skeptical about the possibility of such visits and consider the appearance of UFOs an abnormal natural phenomenon.
