UFO. Russia

As a child, I spent every summer on Velya, in Klimovo. I usually stayed with Grandfather Kolya and Baba Vera, the parents of friends close to our family. In 1984 or 85 - I was about thirteen years old, I had a chance to observe an unidentified flying object in the sky over Klimovo.

That summer evening, the nine-year-old granddaughter of Baba Vera and grandfather Kolya, Nastya, and I went out for a walk in the yard. It was about 10-11 pm, not so dark - it was July. And suddenly, in the sky, at a distance of about a kilometer from us, a "jumping star" appeared. She moved to the horizon, as if drawing a geometric figure, alternately appearing in each corner of an imaginary isosceles triangle. Her speed was colossal.

The amazing phenomenon lasted about half an hour. I remember we were completely stunned by what was happening. At the end of the summer holidays, I returned to Leningrad and found unexpected confirmation that I had not dreamed the whole story — looking through newspaper files for the past summer months, I found, to my surprise, in the newspaper "Smena" the story of another eyewitness who observed the same phenomenon at the same time.

Since then, I perceive Lake Velje as a mystical and extraordinary place. And the fact that you can easily meet UFOs there, for me, is now beyond doubt.
